At Citi Iron Star Seguridad we offer an armed security service, with high-performance security guards who are in possession of the type C weapons license required to carry out this type of service.

To hire armed private security, prior authorization must be requested from the competent authority, for which Citi Iron Star Seguridad will take care of everything, streamlining the process for our clients and carrying out a thorough study of the service, its needs and its capacity to withstand the demands of an armed surveillance service.

An armed security guard can only carry a weapon during his working hours, depositing it at the workplace. Therefore, it is vital to bear in mind that for this service to be authorised, there must be an authorised gunsmith for the Civil Guard’s weapons intervention at the workplace.

ARMED SECURITY SERVICE

According to Art. 40 of Law 5/2014 on Private Security, there are some cases in which it is mandatory to have an armed security guard in the workplace, but there are also particular cases in which, due to the characteristics of the service, authorization may be requested to hire armed private security.
